Admissions Requirements for Broken Arrow Beauty College

At Broken Arrow Beauty College, we welcome students of all backgrounds who meet the following qualifications:

Education Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following:

• A high school diploma or transcript showing your graduation date
• An official GED certificate or transcript
• A home school diploma with an accompanying transcript of subjects studied
• For foreign diplomas, a translated and verified equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma by a certified agency (students are responsible for any translation and verification costs)
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old, the compulsory school attendance age in Oklahoma.

Master Instructor Course: If you’re applying for the Master Instructor program, you must already hold an Oklahoma Basic Cosmetology, Barbering License, Esthetician, or Manicurist License, or be registered for the State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering exam. Should you fail to appear or pass the exam, you must pause your instructor training until you successfully pass.
